The data illustrate that the proportion of a vehicle manufacturer's total sales in different continents , such as South America, North America and Europe as well as Asia. Overall, it is clear that the proportion of a car manufacturer's total sales in Asia increased over the timeframe, while North America experienced the opposite trend.

In 2006, the percentage of a car manufacturer's total sales in Europe recorded the highest share, at 34%, followed by North America, which stood at 30%. Asia accounted for 25% of the manufacturer's total sales, compared with South America, which represented the lowest percentage, at just 11%. In 2008, the percentage of a car manufacturer's total sales in Asia underwent an increase, from 25% to 35%, while North America experienced the opposite trend, declining from 30% to 25%. The share of a vehicle manufacturer's total sales in Europe increased marginally, rising from 34% to 35%, whereas South America experienced a slight decline, falling from 11% to 10%.

By 2010, the most pronounced change was observed in Asia, where the share increased significantly, rising from 35% to 50% and becaming the dominant figure, whereas Europe's share descreased, from 38% to 30%. The proportion of a car manufacturer's total sales in North America experienced a significant decrease , falling from 21% to 9%, became the lowest trend, whereas South America rose from 6% to 11%, before falling to 5%.
